Electra-Light
Role: Co-Founder & Brand Designer
Services: Visual Identity, Community Engagement, Event Design, Kickstarter Strategy
Electra-Light is a first-of-its-kind music-synced, RGB headlamp designed for outdoor parties and adventure groups. As co-founder, I shaped its brand identity, led all visual design, and built a launch strategy rooted in connection and creativity.
The Brief
Outdoor gear typically prioritizes function over experience. Electra-Light sought to flip that: blending performance with vibrant, music-synced lighting that amplifies connection. The brand needed to feel electric, spontaneous, and scalable—bridging a niche product with lifestyle brand potential.
The Solution
I led the development of a visual identity system rooted in RGB color dynamics and rhythmic movement. The logo symbolized light sync and social energy, while the collateral—from Kickstarter decks to apparel mockups—extended the product's vibe into every customer touchpoint.

Target Audience
Our primary segment: Gen Z and Millennial outdoor-social hybrids (ages 18–30)—the types who go from trail to rave, or organize “glow runs” and group hikes. This group seeks connection, freedom, and shareable experiences. They’re early tech adopters and community-first adventurers.

Positioning & Competitive Map
In the headlamp industry, we plotted Electra-Light on a two-axis map: Technical Innovation vs. Social Experience. Traditional brands like PETZL and Black Diamond score high on utility but low on vibe. Electra-Light owns the upper right: medium-tech with high emotional engagement. We're the only product built for both adventure and party.
My Contribution
- Led brand identity development (logo, typography, color palette)
- Created Kickstarter pitch visuals and event collateral
- Designed onboarding guides and merch concepts
- Managed community campaigns
What I Learned
This was more than a branding exercise. As a co-founder, I learned to balance visual storytelling with strategic decision-making. From regulatory research to product design testing, I grew into a designer who builds with purpose and people in mind.
